What sense does it make to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays while at the same time introducing potentially harmful ingredients contained in the vast majority of sunscreens on the market? It doesn’t make sense.

Check the ingredients on the sunscreen you are currently using. If any of the following ingredients are in the sunscreen throw it away. -- Oxybenzone, Homosalate, Benzephenone 3, Octy Salicylate, Methyl anthranilate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Octyl Methozycinnamate, and Octyl Dimethyl Paba.

Titanium Dioxide, a natural mineral provides full spectrum protection against UVA & UVB rays. It does not penetrate the skin and end up in our bodies!

PLEASE NOTE: This sunscreen will leave a white cast on the skin. This is due to the fact that the titanium dioxide we use is larger in particle size and sits on the skin and does NOT absorb into the skin. Ours is nano-free, therefore, the UVA & UVB rays 'bounce' off the skin instead of absorbing into the skin to be dealt with.

Dispense a small amount into palm of hand.

Rub hands together, then gently pat all over clean face and neck without rubbing it in

For the next 15 minutes the sunscreen will continue to blend in with your skin

Apply a more generous layer of sunscreen on sun-sensitive areas

Follow with mineral makeup or leave as is.

Reapply every 2 hours.

The Best Ever

I have been a fan of this sunscreen for 8+ years. Being chemically-sensitive, I'm very cautious re: toxic ingredients.....and have never had an adverse reaction from Sol Intense. It protects well and has a lovely scent! As an added bonus, it is moisturizing. I've tried a couple of other 'natural' sunscreens, but always come back to Sol Intense.

Agree with an earlier review. This sunscreen leaves a white cast. If I were using makeup/foundation on top of the application of the sunscreen, it would be fine. Not a sunscreen for a makeup free day; however, I think this is the case with other SPF30 products. With that said, this sunscreen had a nice smell and did leave my skin feeling soft.

My new daily sunscreen!

This is my first bottle, but so far I have been loving everything about it. Its gentle, natural and does amazing at protecting my skin. Its rich and has a bit of an initial white cast, but once it warms up on you skin it looks totally sheer. I use it both all on its own and also under makeup and it both situation it feels and looks amazing. I am so happy to have a facial sunscreen that is mineral based and free of chemicals which have often irritated my skin. Highly recommend!

Leaves a white cast

Leaves a white cast on the face but I use makeup over the sunscreen prior to walking out the door. It’s definitely not a sunscreen I could use on a makeup free day while jogging or quick errand runs. Nonetheless, I like the sunscreen! This is my second purchase and I appreciate how skin friendly the product is towards my sensitive skin. This product doesn’t irritate my eyes unlike over the counter sunscreens. Quite happy, will purchase again.

What I've been looking for

I wear sunscreen year round' and wanted something that used mineral based ingredients like titanium and zinc and not those other chemical ingredients like - oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate and avobenzone, which create a chemical reaction'Yikes!
