We chose amethyst for its “healing powers” as it is believed to aid in alleviating headaches, insomnia and anger… and its also one of the healing crystals for the crown chakra which is in charge of aligning ourselves with universal energy… and we all want that, right?

Gua Sha (pronounced gwa saa) is a friction scraping technique applied on the skin. The term Gua Sha literally means scraping the disease to the surface.

This is a Chinese medicine technique. It is used in beauty treatments to deeply nourish the skin by allowing the circulation of nutrients to its cells.

It is also a great way to stimulate the surface of the skin. It prevents skin dryness by enabling the skin to redistribute moisture, thus improving skin respiration.

As we age, we tend to lose the ability to hydrate the outer layers of our skin effectively, but this technique creates an adjustment.

Works great with any of our beauty oils.

I have 2 other gua sha stones from other companies in different shapes and stones, but I needed one this shape for my jaw line and my favorite stone is amethyst. This is PERFECT and beautiful as well! I was also very pleasantly surprised by the sturdy box with magnetic closure it came in, I love it! Highly recommend as a new esthetician :)

I was a little skeptical at first…but now—WOW! Amazing tool to refresh your skin!

I wasn’t so sure of the hype at first and the cost seemed a bit much (since I figured manually massaging my skin costs me nothing). But now—I LOVE using the Amethyst Gua Sha tool with any of the oils that Lotus Moon sells, especially the Rose & Neroli! The instructions are easy to follow (it comes in a neat little box that you can store it all in), the process takes hardly any time, and you barely have to press to get results. My skin feels amazing after using it (as do my facial muscles) and I’ve noticed that my skin seems to have a little bit more of a “lift” and glow to it. My husband even notices when I’ve used it. I would highly recommend this to tool to anyone. It’s totally worth it!

Love this tool

I am loving this new addition to my skin care. The instructions are super easy to follow and I truly see a difference when using it. It took a few times for me to realize that I didn't have to press very hard at all - the beautiful gua sha is perfectly shaped to do the work for me. It is much more effective than my manual method and it the perfect way to fight skin sag and create a skin glow. Worth every penny
