The Best Skincare Routine For Spring

Here's a step-by-step skincare routine that includes manual exfoliation, chemical exfoliation, honey mask, serum, and moisturizer, to be done twice a week:

Step 1: Cleanse

Start by cleansing your face with a gentle cleanser, and pat your skin dry with a soft towel.

organic facial cleansers

Step 2: Manual Exfoliation

Apply your choice of: Lemon poppy seed powder cleanse, cardamom and bamboo polishing cream, or wild blueberry, to your skin.

  • Gently massage the exfoliant in circular motions, paying extra attention to areas that tend to be dry or flaky.
  • Rinse off the exfoliant with warm water, and pat your skin dry.

Step 3: Chemical Exfoliation

Apply a chemical exfoliant, (Choose from pumpkin enzyme peel, cacao mousse refining mask, brightening algae mask or papaya enzyme mask).

These contain lactic acid, glycolic acid or salicylic acid, which is why they are referred to as "chemical".

Follow the instructions on the product carefully, as the concentration and duration of application can vary depending on the product.

Rinse off with warm water, and pat your skin dry.

Step 4: Honey Mask

Apply Organic Honey Mask to your skin.

Honey is a natural humectant, which means it can help to hydrate and soothe the skin. You can actually leave this mask on for as long as you would like. if you're able to leave it on for up to 20 minutes that would be ideal.

Then rinse it off with warm water.

Step 5: Serum

Apply a serum to your skin.

Serums are highly concentrated formulations that can help to address specific skincare concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, or uneven skin tone.

Choose a serum that is appropriate for your skin type and concerns, such as Hyaluronic Intensive, Skin Boost Peptide Elixir, or Willowherb serum (if you are experiencing redness or irritation).

Step 6: Moisturizer

Finish off the routine by applying a moisturizer or beauty oil to your skin. Choose one that is appropriate for your skin type, and that can help seal in moisture and protect your skin from environmental stressors.

This routine should be done twice a week, ideally in the evening before bedtime, as it can leave your skin looking a bit red or irritated initially.

Over time, this routine can help to improve the texture and appearance of your skin, leaving it looking brighter, smoother, and more radiant.
