Vitamin B Hydrating Gel is a facial moisturizer designed to address excess sebum production; to manage oil, clogged pores and unwanted shine without over-drying, while at the same time making normal/dry skin feel clear, comfortable and smooth.
  • Helps to reduce sebum production
  • Assists in the prevention of clogged pores without over-drying
  • Helps to tightened and strengthened tissue

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) helps to boost hydration, reduce redness and inhibit the transfer of pigment to skin cells, therefore minimizing dark spots. It is specifically beneficial for people with dry or sensitive skin, and some studies support its benefits for reducing rosacea.  In addition, niacinamide is a potent anti-inflammatory which helps reduce redness.

Aloe Vera – contains almost 20 amino acids, minerals like calcium, magnesium and sodium in sufficient quantities; enzymes, vitamins, and polysaccharides, that make it a miracle beauty herb; improves the skin's ability to hydrate itself; extensive research supports aloe vera’s ability to reduce inflammation because it contains salicylic acid and sterols, both of which work to inhibit inflammation. Aloe also has antimicrobial properties that are beneficial in controlling P. acne.

Beta-carotene – converted to Vitamin A by the body and is one of the most effective, long-term ways to normalize sebum production.

Essential oils - Ylang ylang, cinnamon and rosewood essential oils help clarify and balance sebum production, while peppermint, grapefruit and lemon provide anti-bacterial protection.

7 years later, still obsessed!

I've been using Lotus Moon, specifically this vitamin B hydrating gel, the amaranth cleanser, and exfoliator since 2015. These are the best products for my acne-prone skin. I have tried many other moisturizers over the years, and nothing beats this one for me. At 35 I truly love my skin!

Two personal quirks

I was excited to try this moisturizer, which looked perfect by its description. My bad for not trying a sample first. My two issues with gel are just personal preferences, but I can't get past them for long-term use. The first is smell. Maybe its the mint ingredient, but the gel smells like eucalyptus to me and I really don't like that scent. The second is that it leaves my skin feeling tacky all day. One or both of these issues might not bother someone else, but I'm already testing a sample of the Hybiscus Flower Lotion and liking it much more for my mature skin.

Wonderful moisturizer, been using it for years with great results, my skin is hydrated and doesn't break out. My daughter uses it too and we take advantage of the frequent promotions. Thank you!

B3 for Me!

I've been using Vitamin B Hydrating Gel for over 2 years and I love it. I've gotten many comments on my youthful appearance! I really enjoyed the informational newsletter I got from Lotus Moon. It is great to know how key ingredients, in this case Niacinamide, contribute to making my skin beautiful. Now I know why Vitamin B Hydrating Gel has really been getting rid of redness and keeping away the wrinkles. Go Lotus Moon!
