6 Skincare Resolutions You Can Stick To

This year, we can focus on healthy skincare habits. We can take the time to change our pillowcases weekly, moisturize, and clean off our makeup every night.
This is the year we can make the necessary changes for a healthy lifestyle!
We think these 6 skin care resolutions are a great place to start.
Number 1:
Wash your face every single night! (and immediately after a workout). Going to bed with makeup ages the skin dramatically.
Number 2:
Regular exfoliation (2 times per week)... however be careful not to over-exfoliate. Exfoliating ingredients like glycolic, salicylic and lactic acids can over-strip your skin of it's natural moisture barrier.
Number 3:
Incorporate a serum into your routine. Serums can penetrate deeper layers of the skin and more effectively target specific concerns.
Number 4:
Use ingredients that fit your skin type. You could very well be using products that are all wrong for your skin type. If you're not sure, you can book a consult.
Number 5:
Change your pillowcase every week even if you don't change the bed sheets. Pillow cases build-up of oil and bacteria from your face and can cause breakouts.
Number 6:
Don't neglect the neck. For men, this is not as big of an issue because they have thicker skin… Using products on your neck and hands will help maintain healthy aging.
